1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Divein5, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required for scuba certification in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
3. Platform Services
Divein5 connects divers with dive centers and instructors. We facilitate bookings and communications but are not a party to the diving services themselves. Dive centers and instructors are independent operators responsible for their own services, safety standards, and compliance.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed through our third-party payment providers. Refund policies are set by individual dive centers. Divein5 may charge service fees as disclosed at the time of booking.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, dive logs, reviews). By posting, you grant Divein5 a license to display and distribute that content on the platform. You must not post content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.
6. Limitation of Liability
Divein5 provides the platform “as is.” We are not liable for the quality or safety of diving services booked through the platform. Scuba diving is an inherently risky activity — always verify certifications and safety standards with your dive provider.
7. Disputes
Disputes between divers and dive centers should be resolved directly between the parties. Divein5 may assist with mediation at our discretion but is not obligated to do so.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your content may be retained for legal compliance purposes.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification.
